I am a certified forest therapy guide in practicum from the Association for Natural Forest Therapy (ANFT). I bring individuals and groups into the nordic forests for 2-4 hour guided walks, allowing your sense of curiosity, awe and wonder to re-ignite, while your brain and nervous system calms and restores.
Forest therapy is a gentle, mindful experience in nature, where you are subtly guided through a series of sensory invitations enabling you to connect, in the present moment, to your inner self and your natural surroundings. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (translates to ‘forest bathing’), this is a powerful way to relax and unwind - and known to have far-reaching benefits for whole-system health and wellbeing.
Everything depends on remembering that human lives are rooted in deep relationship with nature.
