〜 Knut Hamsun, Pan
I am a certified forest therapy guide in practicum from the Association for Natural Forest Therapy (ANFT). I bring individuals and groups into the nordic forests for 2-4 hour guided walks, allowing your sense of curiosity, awe and wonder to re-ignite, while your brain and nervous system calms and restores.
Forest therapy is a gentle, mindful experience in nature, where you are subtly guided through a series of sensory invitations enabling you to connect, in the present moment, to your inner self and your natural surroundings. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (translates to ‘forest bathing’), this is a powerful way to relax and unwind - and known to have far-reaching benefits for whole-system health and wellbeing.
Everything depends on remembering that human lives are rooted in deep relationship with nature.
Forest Therapy helps us remember.
Send me an email to request a quote for your guided wander in the Norwegian woods. The walks are based in close proximity to Oslo, and are easily accessible with public transport. I take both individuals and groups of up to twenty people.
The practice of forest therapy can also inspire you see your own region and forests with new eyes. I would love to take you on a personalised walk or organize a weekend-retreat in your area! Get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the dialogue.
My community is called ‘Vandre’, the Norwegian word for ‘wander’.
